Shamaev Vitally Vadimovich was born in 1981 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. From 1997 -2003 he worked as coordinator of development of the national youth program in the organization called “Hope”. From 200-2003 he worked as a coordinator of international cooperation in the same organization. In 2001 he graduated from the Kurgan-Tube Medical College with a specialty “Doctor Assistant” diploma.
From 2001-2004 Shavaev studied in the Eurasian Inductive Study Bible University in Tashkent, graduating with a certificate with “Bucharest” specialty as trainer and disciple coach. From 2003 – 2007 he served as Project Coordinator working with disabled people in Vakhsh city (in south Tajikistan). In July 2004, in Alma-Ata he received a certificate for completion of TOT (ToT for Social Transformation Projects) courses on strategy for transformation of society through work with children. In 2005 he attended TOT on organizing youth camps. In 2006 he was trained in computer skills programs, including Excel & Word, in Bucharest, Romania. From 2006-2008 he served as Regional Coordinator of the NGO “House of Treasure”, providing leadership developing trainings in Tajikistan and Central Asia.
In 2007 he took part in an international conference devoted to The Transformation of Society in Patayya City, Thailand and in 2008 completed a skills training programs in design at Stellenbosch State University in South Africa.
In 2008 Shamaev was trained at the International School of Leadership in South Africa with specialties including organizing TOT’s, organization management, leadership development, intercultural relations, and personality development. Also in 2008 he participated in the training of trainers on strategic planning.
Since January 2009 he has worked as part of the Executive Staff of the Central Committee of the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan (RCST) as the national coordinator of youth program, working with volunteers. He has developed a unified, system database for the management of 12,342 RCST volunteers.
Shavaev’s overall experience includes work in management and development companies for 19 years. From 2010-2013 he has also worked as a rural area development manager of a sports program, and since 2013 has run his own NGO, Toji Nurafshon, focused on development of sport programs in rural area of the country. At the same time he has continued to work in a business company, “Fifty Five” Group, with a focus on business trainings, startups, and international business development. In 2017 and 2018 he worked as an international director of a trade company in Guangzhou, China.
Over all since 2001 till now Vitaly has been actively involved in local Church ministry as a youth coordinator, missionary, church planter and sport ministry country leader. His effort helped to start movements within the country including: Young Life, Sport ministry, School Without Walls, Discipleship Movement among two local Church Unions(only Church Unions in the Tajikistan).
His personal life motto is, A journey in an infinite God can have no limits. He lives in Abuja, Nigeria with his wife and children.
